Why run a shelter?

The actions of a youth always mean something, planned or unplanned.  Lacking means and words, they prefer to act instead of speak because, up to now, the youth feels themselves misunderstood by adults, whether or not this is justified.

En Marge 12-17 has a proven approach to intervention.  By making the youth responsible, we help them think through their issues.  This is not a vacation camp.  Youth are able to identify by themselves their problems, needs, motivations, and goals in order to resolve or improve a crisis situation.
